a mill window ad

new It is now available on our free channel!
James Scarlett, tartan expert, born in London, had fallen in love with tartans when he was in his 40's and lived in the Scottish Highlands for the rest of his life. After the death of his wife, 2 cats and a man, the 3 residents of the house used to be the mill of the village, had developed special relationships, although he kept saying that he was a dog person. Because we were deeply moved by his love of the cats and Highland. Kaiwanoshima asked him if he could tell us what it was like, which was led to a creation of the dedicated section called 'a mill window' in our subscription channels.

'a mill window' has become a legacy of his life where one can see the man who had found his home and identity and Kaiwanoshima would like to share it with everyone on the planet. Please follow the link given on the right under 'a mill window' or pointingclick here.

new! James Scarlett had begun to chat. "He was not only a world authority on tartans, he was also a prolific designer and wove many new tartans on a hand built loom. Not bad for an Englishman who claimed only 'dilute' Scottish ancestry!"
- Rt Hon Charles Kennedy M.P.
